Itinerary
Pick-up from your hotel in Moshi town and drive to Materuni Village (approx. 45 minutes).
Arrive at Materuni Village, where you'll be welcomed by a local guide. Begin your guided hike to the breathtaking Materuni Waterfall. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the lush greenery and learn about the local flora and fauna.
Arrive at Materuni Waterfall. Take in the spectacular view and, if weather permits, enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural pool at the base of the waterfall.
Hike back to the village and proceed to the coffee farm. Here, you’ll learn the traditional Chagga coffee-making process, from bean picking and roasting to brewing your own cup of aromatic coffee.
Enjoy a traditional Chagga lunch prepared with local ingredients
Participate in some cultural activities or interact with the friendly locals before heading back to Moshi.
