Itinerary
Pick-up from your hotel in Moshi and drive to Marangu Gate (approx. 1 hour).
Arrive at Marangu Gate, complete park registration, and meet your professional mountain guide.
Begin your hike through the lush rainforest zone. Enjoy sightings of unique plants, monkeys, and bird species along the trail.
Arrive at Mandara Hut (2,700m). Rest briefly before taking a short hike to Maundi Crater, where you'll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of northern Tanzania and Kenya.
Have a packed lunch at Mandara Hut.
Begin your descent back to Marangu Gate.
Arrive at Marangu Gate, and drive back to Moshi.
Drop-off at your hotel.
