This 3-day safari takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Besides gorilla trekking, these parks are rich in biodiversity, offering sightings of elephants, monkeys, and a wide variety of bird species. Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport or pickup from your hotel in Uganda, you will be warmly welcomed by your English-speaking driver/guide. From here, embark on a scenic 7–8 hour drive through the lush countryside, rolling hills, and charming local communities. Arrive at your lodge in Bwindi in the evening, check in, and relax as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a safety briefing and allocation of gorilla families. Accompanied by expert rangers, begin your trek through the dense forest in search of these gentle giants. The trek can take anywhere from 2–6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ movements.
Once you encounter a gorilla family, you will spend an unforgettable one hour observing them in their natural habitat—a humbling and awe-inspiring experience.
Later, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you may opt for a cultural experience such as a Batwa community visit or a local coffee-making tour (available at an additional cost).

After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe. Depending on your schedule, you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred directly to the airport for your onward flight.
