Mount Meru (4,566m), located in Arusha National Park, is Tanzania’s second-highest peak. The 4-day trek is the recommended itinerary as it allows for better acclimatization and a more relaxed pace compared to the 3-day option. Climbers enjoy scenic trails through lush rainforest, wildlife encounters, and panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro from the summit. Accommodation is in mountain huts along the route.
