THE GREAT MIGRATION SAFARI – 7 DAYS

7 Days

OVERVIEW

The Great Migration is the largest herd movement of animals on the planet—so vast it can be seen from space. With densities of up to 1,000 animals per square kilometer, over 1.2 million wildebeest and 300,000 zebras, alongside topi and gazelles, traverse the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem in constant search of fresh grass and water. Each wildebeest embarks on an epic journey of 800 to 1,000 kilometers, guided by instinct and survival.

This legendary cycle spans from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in southern Tanzania, through the Serengeti, and into Kenya’s Masai Mara before circling back—an awe-inspiring odyssey marked by river crossings, predator ambushes, and dramatic encounters with nature’s most ferocious hunters: lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, wild dogs, and crocodiles. It’s no wonder this spectacle is often called “The Greatest Show on Earth.”
