Itinerary

Day 01 :
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK – LAND OF GIANTS

Main Destination: Tarangire National Park
Estimated Drive Time: Approx. 4 hours from Moshi/Arusha via Arusha City
Time in the Park: Up to 7–8 hours
Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: Camping / Mid-range / Luxury Lodge

Your safari begins early, with a 6:00 AM departure from your hotel as you head toward the scenic Tarangire National Park. The journey takes you past Arusha city and through rural landscapes before arriving at the park gate around mid-morning.

Known for its towering baobab trees and massive herds of elephants, Tarangire offers some of the most dramatic scenery and game viewing in northern Tanzania. Keep an eye out for giraffes, wildebeests, lions, zebras, and possibly even cheetahs. The Tarangire River runs through the park, attracting a constant stream of wildlife, especially during the dry season.

After a full day of exploration, you’ll exit the park around 5:00 PM and head to your chosen camp or lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 02 :
INTO THE PLAINS – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Main Destination: Serengeti National Park
Estimated Drive Time: Approximately 1 hour (from Ngorongoro area)
Time in the Park: Full-day game drive
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: Camping / Mid-range / Luxury Lodge

After breakfast, your journey continues as you make your way toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. Traveling through the scenic highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you’ll witness a dramatic shift in landscape as you leave the lush, hilly regions behind and descend into the vast open plains of the Serengeti.

Known for its endless horizons and dramatic wildlife encounters, the Serengeti is home to one of the highest concentrations of predators in Africa. You’ll explore the central Seronera area—an iconic region fed by the Seronera River and teeming with wildlife year-round. Lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and many other species can be found here.

After a full day of thrilling game drives, you’ll head to your lodge or campsite inside or near the park for dinner and overnight.

Day 03 :
NORTH SERENGETI GAME DRIVE & TRANSFER TO NGORONGORO

Main Destination: Serengeti National Park (Northern Region)
Activity: Full-day game drive
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Accommodation: Camping / Mid-range / Luxury Lodge (Ngorongoro Area)

After breakfast, set out for a full day of game viewing in the vast northern region of the Serengeti. Covering approximately 14,000 km², the park is nearly the size of Northern Ireland, and today you’ll explore a portion of its northern wilderness—renowned as the heart of the Serengeti and a hotspot for large predators, especially lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

The northern Serengeti is also known for its stunning landscapes and the chance to spot less crowded wildlife activity compared to the central zones. Your guide will take you off the beaten track in search of unique sightings.

In the late afternoon, you’ll begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you ascend into the highlands, be prepared for a change in climate—temperatures can drop significantly, so we recommend packing warm layers and light gloves. Arrive at your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and a peaceful overnight rest near the crater rim.

Day 04 :
NGORONGORO CRATER – WILDLIFE WONDERLAND & RETURN

Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater
Estimated Drive Time to Crater: Approx. 10 minutes from lodge/camp
Time in the Park: 7–8 hours
Meals: Breakfast & Lunch
Transfer: Back to Moshi / Arusha / Airport after the tour

After an early breakfast, you’ll descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of exploration. Often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera on Earth and boasts an extraordinary concentration of wildlife in a unique, self-contained ecosystem.

As you drive across the crater floor, you’ll have the chance to spot the famous Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—along with flamingos around Lake Magadi, hyenas, hippos, zebras, and more. The scenic beauty combined with incredible wildlife viewing makes this one of Africa’s premier safari destinations.

After 6–8 hours of game viewing, you’ll begin your journey back to Moshi, Arusha, or proceed directly to the airport for your onward travel or departure.
